Porcellionides pruinosus "Powder Orange"

Porcellionides pruinosus, commonly known as the "powder orange" or "powder blue" isopod (depending on color morph), is a fast-moving, soft-bodied terrestrial isopod valued in bioactive terrariums. Native to warmer climates, it thrives in moist environments and helps break down organic waste, making it an excellent clean-up crew for reptile and amphibian enclosures. Its distinctive dusty or "powdery" appearance comes from a fine layer of microscopic scales on its body.
