Bearded Dragon

Bearded dragons are medium-sized lizards native to Australia, known for their calm temperament and distinctive appearance. They get their name from the "beard" of spiny scales under their throat, which can puff up and darken when they're threatened or displaying dominance. Popular as pets, bearded dragons are omnivores, eating a mix of insects, vegetables, and fruits. They are diurnal, meaning they are active during the day, and they enjoy basking under heat lamps to regulate their body temperature. With proper care, they can live up to 10–15 years in captivity.
