Florida Bark Scorpion (Centruroides gracilis
)
Florida Bark Scorpion with enclosure $75

Centruroides gracilis, commonly known as the Florida bark scorpion or slender brown scorpion, is a moderately venomous species native to Central America and parts of the Caribbean, but it has also been introduced to Florida. It is recognizable by its slender body, long tail, and reddish-brown to dark brown coloration with darker markings. This species is agile and fast, often found hiding under rocks, logs, or bark in warm, humid environments. While its sting can cause pain, swelling, and mild systemic symptoms, it is generally not life-threatening to healthy adults. C. gracilis is also popular in the exotic pet trade due to its striking appearance and adaptability.
